Meet Ryan

Ryan Lynch, LCSW, M.Ed, CST

Sometimes people get nervous when they find out that I am a certified sex therapist. They think it means that our sessions will focus only on sexual intimacy, or that I won’t be able to help them or their child work through issues like anxiety or depression. That’s just not true! However, my education does give me incredible insight and skill when working with clients who are struggling or who want to explore issues related to sexual trauma, identity, or even teens who just need extra education or insight into the choices they are making in relationships.

I love helping people with all types of issues, and it’s great when it’s clear a person has become hopeful again about the future, and their place in it. I have the ability to get to the root of the problem and find solutions. We often look outside to find the answers to our problems, I can help you to filter out the noise and find the solutions that often already lie within. My goal is to help you become your authentic self.

Ryan provides counseling to individuals, couples and families. He works with clients aged teen, young adult and adult. He specializes in issues of anxiety, depression, intimacy, communication, sexual dysfunction, compatibility, and self-worth. Ryan utilizes his therapy dog, Laika, in his work with clients, when requested.

Ryan has a Masters in Social Work, and a Masters of Education in Human Sexuality. He is certified to work with clients who have been impacted by trauma, and is a Certified Sex Therapist.

Ryan also co-hosts a weekly therapy-based podcast called, Worth the Work.
