Sara is an integral member of our team at Welsh Therapy. She brings with her 10 years of experience working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as being the manager of clinical programming at a local non profit.
Sara works with adolescents, young adults and adults who are struggling with issues of anxiety, depression, self-harm, self esteem, body image, life transitions, personality disorders, mood instability, and issues of addiction (vaping, smoking, drugs and alcohol).
Sara has an innate ability to connect with her clients and to help them to feel safe, so they can be open about their emotions. Sara is highly sought out in the field for the way that she is able to support and guide her clients into making positive and healthy changes.
Sara holds a Bachelors in Psychology and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). Sara is certified as a Clinical Supervisor in the State of Pennsylvania. Sara has been a guest speaker at numerous events related to issues of treatment and policy. Sara is currently in the process of completing her Masters of Social Work.
