Therapeutic Coach/Executive Functioning Skills Coach

Anita Puran, PhD

Dr Puran  is the mother of two young adults who are currently in university. Anita earned her PhD in Public Health and has spent several years working in the Health Care industry as a Trauma Coordinator. Anita transitioned into therapeutic coaching in order to pursue her passion of helping adolescents, young adults and adults  flourish in their lives. Anita works with middle school, high school and college kids with  their academics to develop and improve their executive functioning skills to reach their personal best in school. Anita also provides parent support, with consent,  to the parents of her clients are in daily power struggles with their kids to help them organize and focus in the academics and their daily routines.  The power struggle that can ensue between kids and their parents over school work and daily routines can impact the parent child relationship greatly. In family sessions Anita can guide parents in mending their relationship with their kids.


She was also the co-founder of Smile Bangladesh, a nonprofit that provided free surgical care to women and children with cleft palates and lips.
