Navigating your way through the ups and downs of life isn't always easy but can be done better with some help along the way. I take a holistic counseling approach to each person to help you deal with your challenges and worries, your dreams and nightmares, and your health and well-being in both your relationships with yourself and with others. Sometimes changes in personalities and expressions of oneself can seem confusing as we experience the many emotions in life and the reactions they bring as we work on healing the traumas within ourselves and in our relationships with others at home, at work, and in our families, schools and communities.
With careful attention to words and actions, we use therapy to explore what you desire and what you dread, your lifestyle and choices. I pay attention to issues of gender, race, culture and sexuality and how you have been treated in your life and work. Whether single or married, each lifestyle and choice is unique and must be understood where you find yourself.
I am flexible in my work, conduct phone sessions nationally and internationally and make use of a variety of theories where they are helpful. With care and attention, conflicts become clearer, anxiety, depression and addictions become more manageable and our lives improve with our choices and how we live with them, with ourselves and with each other.
